María Alert is a grassroots movement founded by a collective of mothers in Florida under the name Florida Mothers Against Pedophiles (FMAP). We are united by one mission: to protect children from the horrors of trafficking, exploitation, and abuse. Our movement is named in honor of courageous women like Guatemala’s Attorney General María Consuelo Porras, whose efforts to bring justice to victims have inspired us to act.
We are not affiliated with political parties or corporations—we are independent, driven solely by our responsibility as mothers, educators, and citizens who believe that every child deserves to be safe, respected, and free.

Why "María" Alert?
Our Mission
To end child trafficking and exploitation by raising awareness, educating communities, and pushing for accountability and justice. We aim to be a voice for the voiceless and a shield for the vulnerable.
